We strive to work predominantly from Monday to Friday, however with the nature of the industry, there may be mandatory weekend shifts.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to read construction stakes
  • Must know how to cut and trim a ditch
  • Must have an eye for detail and slopes
  • Must be reasonably fit for labourer duties
  • Driver's license required
  • Experience on other pieces of equipment an asset

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Cutting and trimming ditches, swales and sideslopes
  • Loading, hauling and placing of clay and topsoil
  • Dozing and leveling topsoil along a slope or in a ditch
  • Leveling and trimming street footprints in preparation for sub-base and base gravel
  • Using a jumping jack packer and plate tamper
  • Set-up and operation of water pumps
  • Installing culverts, headwalls and riprap stone
